Inside Fonzie's Head

Ruminations from some guy named Fonzie. The name is Alfonse... Al-Fonse became "Al Fonz" in elementary school, then just Fonzie in High School, and it's still with me ten years after college. Luckily, I work in the motorcycle industry! Enjoy the occasionally exciting life of me - expect posts VERY random, about VERY random thoughts - I am an artist remember. Thank You America

In exchange for putting down the camera and tapping a few million keystrokes, I'm (finally) given the opportunity to report on a motorcycle from another country.

To do so, I needed to update my antique passport - asap. After sweating the logistics, paying my 160$ fee and waiting only 2 more days, I walked away with a brand new passport.

Look out world! Germany, here comes the Fonz!

In My Own Head

Yes, I do live in my own world. A world inside my head. But the friends I have in there like me for reals.

In case you were wondering...

...where the new headshot came from, my brother snapped it up for me at Big G's wedding to Megan in October. Good times. Good times. To see some random pictures from the gig, head on over to the picture show.

It's Elemental

Perhaps it's better to say that I'm elemental to your projects. As a commercial photographer, I've come to need a brand & logo. I've wanted one for years, always wanting to play on my initials and their parallel to the Associated Press. Thusly the apwired moniker began when I worked at the Times Leader way back in '94 or '95.

Since that time, I've changed industries a few times, as well as nicknames. When 'fonzie' reared it's head again (after we parted ways in junior high), the Fonz became an indispensable item around the Motorcycle.com office. I began to realize that's where I belong. Growing out of the baby shoes of MO and now learning to stumble around in the big boys' shoes, I need to assume the identity and position of an authority in my field. Rising above indispensable, I've become elemental to getting the job done... whomever I work for. Add one periodic table of elements to one photographic reference to f-stops and my icon is born. I hope you dig it as much as I do! :)

The light at the end of my tunnel

She makes me laugh everytime I speak to her, she keeps me focused on making it through life despite her not wanting to change her own path to bend towards mine, which is only fair. I moved away from her many years ago and we've both grown immensly in the meantime... I love her *too* much anway. She's awesome to listen to - her stories are plentiful as well as colorful! :)

I have discovered the "dietary supplement" of the gods! Thanks to the low priced guarana seed powder, I believe I am going to be able to move the world during my regular waking hours. Sure, they're screwed up, but just drop it. :)
